Faada Freddy is a Senegalese singer-songwriter whose distinctive voice and deeply organic approach have made a strong mark on the contemporary soul scene. He rose to prominence with his debut album Gospel Journey, widely acclaimed by critics and nominated at the Victoires de la Musique, establishing himself as a truly singular artist blending spirituality, groove, and social consciousness. After an extensive period of touring across Europe and the United States, he took time for creative reflection, leading to the birth of Golden Cages, a project shaped by introspection and collaboration. 

Remaining faithful to his minimalist aesthetic, Faada Freddy continues to explore a fully organic form of music, created solely through voice and body percussion, without the use of instruments or modern technology. Surrounded by a vocal quintet, he builds a rich and warm sonic universe at the crossroads of gospel, pop, and soul. 

With Golden Cages, he embraces complete artistic freedom, offering original compositions that question our times. Inspired by artists such as Marvin Gaye and Bob Marley, he develops a voice that is both critical and deeply human, addressing themes like the standardization of thought, information overload, and the erosion of individual freedom.
