Diana Akbulut
Diana Akbulut is a Swiss dancer, choreographer, and educator of Kurdish origin. Her work is built through movement—instinctive, raw, and shaped by multiple influences. Trained in the field, she started with hip-hop freestyle and battles before expanding her movement and exploring new dynamics. She performed internationally with Swaggers, a collective led by Marion Motin, while simultaneously developing Sassy in Lausanne, a space for movement exploration where the body transitions through different states and intensities. Recently, she created Amour Grenade, her first solo. Since then, she has been developing and presenting new performative formats. Alongside her artistic work, she teaches and organizes projects around dance and movement. Her work moves between stage, performance, and experimental spaces.
