After receiving a Gold Medal and a First Prize in Lyric Arts from the Conservatoire de Nancy in France in 2007, he went on to win, the same year, the New Artist Prize at the Adami Awards. Thanks to these prestigious achievements, he is able to start a remarkable career and very quickly, is receives invitations from the world’s most important conductors, such as Marc Minkowski, Philippe Herreweghe, Ton Koopman, Christophe Rousset, Leonardo García Alarcón, Raphaël Pichon, Hervé Niquet, and Emmanuelle Haïm.
Praised as one of today’s greatest specialist in the fields of sacred music and oratorios, Benoît Arnould offers unforgettable interpretations of the role of Christ in Bach’s Saint Matthew Passion and Saint John Passion, the role of Lucifer in Handel’s Resurrection, as well as Mozart’s Masses and Requiem. A frequent guest in the most prestigious opera houses internationally, he sings a tremendous variety of roles, ranging from Baroque to 20th century repertoire.
